Steve Norris, Chairman of This Land, the housing development company owned by Cambridgeshire County Council and focused on the creation of exceptional homes for local communities, has announced that he will retire as chairman of the company on completion of his term of office this February.
Steve first joined the board in 2018 and has overseen and led the mobilisation of the company as a housebuilder and land developer, and led improvements to its commercial planning and operations.
Steve Norris said: “I’m proud of what we’ve achieved at This Land and am confident the company has a bright future looking ahead. In 2021 we secured a number of promising land and housing sales which has put the company on a much sounder footing to plan confidently for its future. I would like to thank the officers and Directors of This Land for the great work they have done and the support they have given me and wish the company every success going forward”
