David Meek has been appointed as This Land’s new Chair. He joined developer This Land™ as a non-executive director in 2019 and will succeed Steve Norris as Chair who stepped down at the beginning of the year.
A dynamic, innovative and results-driven leader with substantial corporate governance credentials, David’s new role as Chair will see him continue to help facilitate the fast-paced growth of This Land and its impact on the community and the sustainability of the housing product.

With extensive experience across real estate, finance, technology and third sector businesses, David has a proven track record of strategic sustainable growth built on a robust risk and governance framework. David has held board-level roles at some of the world’s leading financial institutions including NCB Capital and National Commercial Bank, and Equiti Capital. In terms of Senior Executive experience, his term as Managing Director at JPMorgan involved sourcing client solutions for Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. David is currently Chair of the not-for-profit Ethical Tea Partnership.
