Following extensive community consultation, we have submitted an outline planning application for a sustainable development of circa. 230 new homes on land at Newbury Farm in Cambridge.
Located on the edge of the city near Addenbrookes Hospital and Babraham Research Centre, the plans incorporate affordable housing for local people and an extensive network of pedestrian and cycle paths for both residents and the local community.
Sustainability is at the heart of the development with all homes benefiting from low carbon, non-fossil fuel heating. Under our plans, the landscape-led scheme will include around 740 linear metres of native hedgerow and approximately 2.5k square metres of green open space, including trees and shrubs to enhance biodiversity in the area.
