The second phase of the Archaeological dig is progressing on site, uncovering a bronze age burial mound with an associated cemetery, work continues across the remainder of the site. As of Tuesday 20th September, the permissive footpath from Babraham road up to Worts Causeway will be closed to the general public until November.
The permissive footpath will be closed to the public due to active works along the route of the footpath, this is to enable water mains works to safely commence. We will continue to update local residents on the reopening of the footpath following the completion of works on site with an estimated reopening in November.
In early October, This Land™ will continue with the construction of 230 high quality new family homes, including a provision of 40% affordable homes to meet local needs.
The Eddeva Park scheme will include a mix of one and two-bed starter homes to larger family homes, with all dwellings having a low carbon footprint and benefiting from efficient heating systems and solar panels. In addition, the delivery of a new community centre and well designed areas of accessible open spaces targeted to bring the new and existing communities together.
